There are basically three choices available. They are:

1. Sell. You may sell items which you wont need anymore. Or you may sell in order to buy other things you want.

2. Recycle. When you reach certain recycling points, you get something.

3. Gift. You may also give items to friends. This may prod them to give you something in return.

Fishing is a new add on to Pet Society. To those who know how to fish, they mostly grow to loving the new add on. But to those who haven't understood the simple fishing techniques, this new thing could become very annoying.

Making your pet catch lots of nice thigns for your aquarium is pretty easy actually. You just have to have some food and a few seconds.

Here is a guide on fishing:
1. Go to the fish pond.
2. Open your chest and click on desired bait. Experiment on what baits catches what aquarium ornament.
3. Click on pet to cast.
4. Once there's a tug on the line, hold your mouse's left key.
- Now here lies the trick. Refrain from holding your mouse if there's another tug during the reeling process. If you still hold it, the fish will get away. Just hold your mouse if there are no tugs on the line.
5. Just continue the process and i'm sure you'll get lots of ornament for your aquarium.

Tips to earn money

Like many Playfish games, Pet Society is driven by coins.

Here are a few ways to earn:
1. Visiting friends. Each friend visit will earn you 30 or 20 coins. However, earning through visits is applicable once every 24 hours. The more friends you have, the more money you can make.2. Racing and betting. If you go to the town stadium, you will be asked to either bet, practice or race. Two of these choices i.e., racing and betting, will earn you some coins. Winning in the race will earn you 30 coins. However, you can only race 10 times per day.

While, betting, on the other hand, lets you decide how much money you're willing to lose or win.

3. Selling. Selling some items in your chest will also make you earn some coins. A grown flower, for example, will cost 208 coins. The seed only costs 200.

things to monitor

There are some things to watch after you have created your pet. The three main status readers you have to watch out are the life, happiness and hygiene. These are located at the right corner of your screen. You may refer to the illustration above.

The red one refers to the life status of your pet. This can be improved by feeding your pet. Food can be bought in the neighboring food store.

The smiley (yellow) would mean your pet's happiness. This can be improved by visiting neighbors, playing and winning in the neighboring stadium.

The blue one is the hygiene reader. If it scans low, your pet may smell and flies will be buzzing around him. You may clean him by using the soap which is in your chest.


For washing your pet with soap, just hold mouse to grip soap and rub your pet with it. By being hygienic, you can also earn coins.
